Breaking, Geaorge Dampare Appointed As The New IGP

A previous ADC to ex-President John Evans Atta-Mills, Mr. George Akuffo Dampare has been named as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Modern ghana News can report. 

The accomplished official is supplanting Mr. James Oppong Boanuh who has been the top of the Ghana Police Service since August 14, 2019 

In the wake of serving for near two years, Mr. Boanuh has been soothed of his obligations. 

Mr. George A. Dampare takes over having last filled in as the Director-General (Operations) of the Service. 

He joined the power as a constable and has since moved gradually up the stepping stool with more than thirty years of administration to the country.

COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has been in the Ghana Police Service for a very long time. He joined the assistance as a Constable and has ascended through the positions to the high position of Commissioner of Police, becoming one of the most youthful Police Officers to have accomplished this lately. 

He has served in numerous initiative limits in the Service including; Director General (Finance) , Director General (Welfare) , Director General (ICT) Commandant of the Police Command and Staff College, and Accra Regional Police Commander. 

Right now holding a PHD in Finance, COP Dampare turned into a sanctioned bookkeeper at 25 years old while filling in as a Police Constable around twenty years prior. He is enthusiastic about sharing the expression of God and he keeps on proliferating the gospel wherever he goes. 

He is hitched to his exquisite spouse Anita and has six youngsters.
