Some weeks ago, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia made a speech at the launch of two new high-level information technology programmes at Accra Business School at Baatson in Accra.
At the launch, he talked about the importance of th3 introduction of Ghana card and he stressed on that if he is to choose between Ghana card and 1000 interchanges, he will pick the Ghana card. According to him, the benefits of Ghana card outweigh the benefits of the 1000 interchanges.
This statement made some Ghanaians angry. Some also resorted to social media trolls to troll Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
Today, a picture is trending on social media and it has gotten a lot of Ghanaians talking. This picture is about some words a driver has written at the back of his vehicle.
At the back of the driver's vehicle he has boldly written " No Ghana Card, Cash Only". His statement clearly means he only accepts money as payment and he doesn't Ghana card as payment for his services.
This is clearly to warn people who were seen on social media trying to purchase things with their Ghana card. What do you think about this news? Let us know what you think in the comment section.
