The recent heartbreaking incident that has sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms is that of a security man in Kumasi who was heartlessly shot by armed robbers at the Adansi Rural bank limited.
The recent rise in criminal cases across the country has been alarming as most Ghanaians have kept asking questions on how the Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare is looking forward to combating such unlawful acts considering the number of innocent victims who have lost their respective lives in the process.
With respect to this, another sad incident that has witnessed a mother lose her son is the one that occured at Adansi Rural bank as the deceased mother, Madam Mary Amoako has come out to break silence about her son’s death aside seeking justice against the armed robbers who committed the heartless crime.
Mother of the 36-year old private security man, Alex Opoku is yet to come to terms with circumstances leading to the death of her son who worked with the G4S Private security services.
Speaking on the heartbreaking incident, Madam Mary Amoako who couldn’t hold her tears after hearing the unexpected news about the death of her lovely son took the privilege to reveal her last encounter with the deceased, Alex Opoku.
“Yesterday, I met him dressed up for work. This morning, I went to the market and saw several calls coming through my phone. I was told armed robbers cane to his workplace and tied him up; then later found him dead. Why did you have to die in this manner”, Madam Mary Amoako painfully revealed.
