Another person of interest has been brought into custody in connection with the murder that occurred in Mankessim.This suspect, who is known in the area as Kobbie, is reportedly married to Akyere, who is Nana Clarke's niece, according to the information that this portal has gathered.
According to the available information, Kobbie was hired to dig the grave for nursing student Georgina Asor Botchwey at Nana Clarke's house in Mankessim.Kobbie was located in the hamlet of Akwakrom in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region after information from the police led to his whereabouts.
On September 22, 2022, the defendants, Pastor Michael Darko Amponsah (also known as Sofo Kofi) and Michael Ekow Clarke Quansah (also known as Nana Clarke), appeared in front of the Cape Coast District Court 2, which was presided over by Her Lordship Bernice Mensima Ackon.
However, the two were charged with murder and conspiracy to commit a crime in violation of section 46 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act 1980, Act 29. These charges were brought against the two individuals. Daniel Gadzo, the deputy superintendent of police working for the prosecution, begged the judge to grant them further time so that they may finish their investigations. It will now take place on October 4, 2022, instead.
