Another daylight robbery at Weija; robbers bolt with money in rambo style (Video)

What is really happening in this country? We are no more safe in this country because of the rampant cases of robbery attacks in recent times. The Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Armed Force really have a work to do considering the high rate of arm robbery operations going on in the country recently. Areas where robbery incidents have been recorded recently include Achimota, Kwashieman, Kasoa and the latest one which is Weija.

Just this afternoon, a particular video started trending and went viral on the various social media platforms especially on Instagram. This video surfaced online after an arm robbery operation went on at Weija-Gbawe where reports claims four armed robbers attacked a saloon car in the Ga South Municipality on Friday September 24th, 2021. The robbers seen on the motorbike had in possession an AK-47 rifle.

In the viral video which was captured by some good citizens in the neighborhood captured four individuals on two bikes (two on one nike each) as they approached a white car, in few minutes time, the robbers bolt with bag full of money in Rambo style. As at now, the actual amount the robbers bolt with is not yet disclose but it's said to be a very huge sum of money.

An eyewitness who narrated the incident to Citi News called for police and military deployment to tackle insecurity in the country.

“The incident has made all of us afraid. We are calling for the deployment of police and soldiers at various checkpoints in the country to save the situation.”
