The recent heartbreaking news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms is that of untimely death of the GIJ final year student, Nancy Asante Bannor.

According to recent report by Citi News, the final year student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) unexpectedly committed suicide aside leaning a suicide note after she lost a huge sum of Ghs 200,000 in online forex trading venture.

The deceased’s roommates highlighted that, Bernice had been involved in forex trading for quite some time now as most people including her church members took the privilege to invest in the platform through her as the agent but the unexpected happened when they closed from church to meet a suicide note written by the deceased that highlighted her sad ordeal.

Upon the unexpected demise of the GIJ student popped up, one of her roommate, Bernice Mensah took the privilege to share her thoughts on the untimely death of Nancy Bannor.

According to Bernice Mensah who was shocked and surprised upon hearing about the death of her roommate, highlighted that the deceased was humble and well behaved as she never expected her to commit suicide over pressure from her church members.

”She is a good girl and a good friend. She is well behaved and a good student. Her parents have been informed of the incident and her father says she should come home but she hasn’t gone home. She says the people she invested the money for do not trust that the money is indeed missing and they now suspect her”, Bernice Mensah emphatically revealed.

May her soul rest in perfect peace and all condolences goes to the entire family and friends.
