
Sad news has befall the people of Trede and Asanteman,as residents think the incident was like a Hollywood movie.
Five (5) people have lost their lives and many serious injured in a gory accident that occurred at Trede a suburb of Pekyi in the Atwima kwanwoma district of the Ashanti region.
According to the report for an eyewitness, a sprinter bus with a registration number Cr. 1573–21 was over speeding and however decided to overtake moving saloon cars and trucks but unfortunately met an incoming kia mighty vehicle which was fully loaded with sacks of cassava heading towards Kumasi causing a serious crash.

The eyewitness further indicated that another commercial vehicle following the Kia mighty knocked the backside of the vehicle and threw the Kia to the other side of the road.
The deceased bodies has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The injured victims are also receiving treatment at KATH.
Police were also at the scene to savage the situation and also help traffic control.
