According to eyewitnesses, co-tenants had not seen Abass in the past four days before the incident and decided to break into his door following a bad smell that emanated from his room.
The eyewitness, which is Abass' friend stated that he was not on good terms with his family members including his mother and none of them visited him when he was alive.
It remains unclear the actual course of the young man's death and per what the Muslim tradition demands, Abass will be buried as soon as possible.
