DCE of Ajumako, Hon ransford Kwasi Nyarko have been arrested for ordering men numbering eight to beat up police officer, corporal Frank Mensah of Otchiso police station to a pulp
On 2nd Dec, the officer was executing his duty at the police station in the Ajumako Enyan Esiam District of the central region when he received a complaint from a woman that some men have assaulted her grandson for no reason
While speaking with the woman, two vehicles pulled in at the station with eight men inside with the DCE of Ajumako leading them. The men pounced on the police and assaulted him mercilessly
The central Regional police Pro DSP Irene Oppong told Angel News reporter, Kwame Owusu Asante that the DCE have been arrested by the Cape Coast Cid department and currently assisting investigations
The Regional police command assured that they are investigating and will bring the perpetrators to book.
