Somewhere in May last year, Memuna Malik who was working as a domestic worker in Suadi Arabia was disfigured accidentally by Salomey. It was reported that Memuna and her friend, Rabi went to braid their hair at her dressing saloon, and acid which was meant for Memuna's friend, Rabi was accidentally poured on her by Salomey.
Salomey and Rabi were having a disagreement which led to this unfortunate event. When Memuna Malik arrived in Ghana, she sought help for a surgical operation and Crime Check Foundation came to her aid. At a point in time, Memuna said that she will like to die than live this painful life.
The acid attack was so severe that she thought the only better way for is to end her life. But look at her new look below, Memuna is gradually getting her formal face back. This is after the second surgical operation in the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
The Executive Director of Crime Check Foundation, Mr. Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng said that she is gradually getting her looks back, meaning they are going to support her till she has got all the surgical operations done. At the beginning of the horrific attack, Memuna got both of her eyes covered by the skin but thank God that the doctors have done well to make her see again with two eyes.
Looking at the picture above, she is just left with the operation of the nose and nose and she will be back on track again. Mr. Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng said that she visited them to show her appreciation to the foundation and also advised Ghanaians living in Saudi Arabia.
This is what Mr. Ibrahim wrote on the official Facebook page of Crime Check TV:
"Our dear sister is gradually getting there. She is so grateful to all those who have supported her through this turbulent journey. She visited us to show appreciation to you all, and to advise Ghanaians in Saudi Arabia".
