Ahafo Region:15-year-old stabbed to death, Police arrest 4 suspects

The Police Command in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region has arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in the stabbing of two individuals.

One of the victims, identified as 15-year-old Emmanuel Oppong had died as a result.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ahafo Regional Command, ASP Isaac Kwame Loh speaking to CitiNews said investigations have already began into the stabbing incident.

Recounting the incident, ASP Isaac Kwame Loh said;

"On the 11th of October at 10am, Police from Dormaa had information to the effect that some young men went to Dormaa and stabbed Emmanuel Oppong aged 15 years and one Collins Akpabli, 18 years, all students of Dormaa Ebenezer International School.

The victims were rushed to Dormaa Government Hospital for treatment but Emmanuel Oppong died while receiving treat. Second victim, Collins Akpabli is in very stable condition and receiving treatment. Remains of the victim has been deposited at Tepa Government Hospital for preservation and autopsy," he added.

The police however, arrested four suspect namely, Maxwell Adjei aged 20 years, Gideon Ofosu Hene, 20 years, Derrick Oppong, 21 years and Eric Boateng also 20 years who are all in police custody assisting police in investigations.
