The Eid Mubarak celebration went underway this morning as all Muslims gathered to offer prayers to Allah for blessings and commended him for strengthening them through out their prayers and fasting period.
A popular man Thomas Kobina who hails from Assin Enyiresi had extended his hands to the Muslim fraternity with some items and a whooping amount of money which was donated to the Chief imam of Assin Darmang Nsuam today during a group gathering for prayers.
He entreated all people to offer a helping hand to other individuals in the society as it is the only way and means to get blessings from God.
The Chief imam of Assin South District Council, Nuhu Ahmed gladly welcomed all the food items including 250 packs of assaulted drinks, 350 pieces of packaged rice water, 120 packs of biscuits and a sumptuous GH¢1000.00
The award winning Presenter of Rich FM, a Peace FM affiliate station of Assin Foso, Central Region, Kwaku Minta Hayford Amansan was present when the presentation of the all the food items and donated cash was being given to the Chief Imam, Nuhu Ahmed, an NDC activist.
The Eid Mubarak is celebrated every year by the Islamic groups all over in the world to end the dawn to sunset monthly fasting of Ramadan.
