
A truck has run into a market today at Awutu Breku, in Awutu Senya West District. It was reported this morning at about 4:30am that a truck carrying gravels from Botrase run into a close by market on reaching a T-junction.

The driver and his conductor got injured and was taken to a health centre. They sustained minor injuries but are in stable conditions. The Police Commander for Awutu Breku, Supt. Joshua Semenyo described the situation to reporters.

The vehicle with Car number GG - 3251 - 19 has destroyed about 6 shops. He stated that due to the timing of the accident, there was no one present at the market. It would have been fatal if it had occured during the busy hours of the day.
The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West constituency, Hon. George Andah, visited the victims at the health centre and urged the medical team to try their best to help the injured driver and his conductor.
