Why Is Everything Up? ; Do You Want To Kill Us? - Johnnie Hughes 'Fumes' And Boldly Questions.

The rise in the cost of living has taken sharp in the country. Ghanaians are massively complaining about the incessant rise in the prices of goods and services. However, on today's bite on Johnnie's Hughes show, Johnnie's bite, he unleashed several critical critics at the Government. Johnnie Hughes displayed his sentiment in relation to the increase in tarrifs which was proposed by Ghana Water Company Limited(GWCL) and Electricity Company Of Ghana(ECG).

Whiles addressing the major problems, Johnnie Hughes directed a strong advice to ECG and GWCL. According him, he does not know why his water and electricity has been going on and off intermittently these days but Ghanaians on the streets are admonishing them to collect the monies owned to them by state institution and major co-operations.

He again warned GWCL not to increase the tariffs if they cannot fix broken pipes. Interestingly, Johnnie said he hasn't heard PURC saying that they want to review prices downwards before but rather the opposite. It was in this desolation that Johnnie Hughes made the famous headline. According to him, salaries of workers are not increasing, transport fares are up, fuel prices are up, food prices are up, school fees are up and everything is up. Comparatively, Johnnie lambasted the Government and questioned the Government, "Why is everything going up? Do you want to kill us?"
