Just this morning a very sad news has hit the people of Sepaase in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal. A cargo car full of plantain crashed with a passenger car on the Nkawie road. Four people have died on the spot leaving several injured in the process.
An eye witness claim the car was a Sprinter which was overspeeding. The driver lost control trying to overtake a car ahead of him. The Sprinter then Crashed with the cargo Car carrying plantain.
The Sprinter was at Abuakwa. It was loaded from Abuakwa station. After it set of from Abuakwa it started overspeeding. It has been reported that the driver of the Sprinter was told to slow down for the safety of his passengers but he turned deaf ears on.
He then decided to make an overtaken at a place called Sepaase Adwafo and unfortunately for him he met with a cargo car carrying plantain which was coming from Nkawie. The Sprinter then collided with the Cargo car.
It left 4 people in the Sprinter to die at the spot leaving several others severely injured.
It is very sad what has really happened this morning. People have lost their lives unexpectedly.
Those that lost their lives couldn't meet their family again. We are praying those in a critical condition would be saved by the almighty Lord.
The overspeeding on our roads are causing a lot of damage to innocent people. Drivers are advised to avoid overspeeding.
