Robbers, Beaten To Pulp At Pampaso Kensere

The four robbers namely; Kofi Grushie, John Painstil, Kofi Adu and James Bukari with their ages 34, 18, 25 and 24 respectively have been caught and beaten severely after an attempt to take off with railway tracks.

The Ghana Railways Corporation kept railway tracks at a village called Pampaso Kensere which is within the Bekwai Municipality of Asante Region.

The tracks were meant for construction of the Bekwai-Kumasi rail line for development of that region.

The robbers hired a heavy-duty truck to load the railway tracks in it and sell it to scrap dealers for money but the residents of Pampaso Kensere caught and beat them severely after they failed to spark and take off with the truck.

The robbers begged for forgiveness and the residents felt pity for them.

The residents marched the robbers to Bekwai police station for further punishment after brutalizing them.

This incident happened on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
