For some past few weeks, armed robbery in Ghana has gradually risen. I will urge you to follow me once again for more stories ongoing in this country. This article was brought about as a result of this intense issue that has not been given much attention in the country. It seems the government has turned deaf ears to this matter. It has led to so many destruction of lives lately.
Just recently, a report of a new armed robbery case was brought out. This incident occurred in Takoradi where a couple were severely injured during the robbery. This robbery happened in the day, afternoon to be more precise. Surprising to know, right? How can robbery take place in the afternoon? I shudder to ask myself such questions as to what will happen for a robbery to take place in the middle of the day. Well, unfortunately, it has happened. According to a unique source, the man involved in the robbery incident had gone to the bank with his wife to withdraw some cash; not knowing they were being spied. As they were done with their mission, the couple decided to move straight back to their house. As they were on the road, they suspected that they were being followed by some robbers on a motorcycle. They reluctantly stopped and the armed robbers continued with their dreadful actions. After robbing them of their money, the robbers injured them severely.
So unbelievable! Just in the afternoon, armed robbery took place. This has put Ghanaians in so much distress. It’s becoming quite rampant in the country. I will therefore plead with Ghanaians to be very conscious of themselves because of these deadly occurrences of robbery. The police, therefore, should see to it that they deliver as expected by the people in the country.
