Following a court warrant, a chief from the Western-North region has been declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service on charges of defrauding under false pretense. Samuel Kwaku Romeo, 56, per information available is a resident of Broadcasting, near Weija and was last seen at Lapaz in Accra.
The Police yesterday, June 3, put out a notice across their various social media platforms describing the suspect as a medium built man who is fair in complexion and has dark hair. The notice also say the suspect stands at five feet Six inches tall and is believed to be hiding in parts of the Western North Region, Togo and Benin.
The police have urged members of the general public should be on the look out for the suspect, saying anybody who comes into contact with him to report to the nearest police station. Crime in the Greater Accra region has been on the ascendancy in recent times and the law enforcement agency have taken steps to build formidable partnership with the citizens to help in combating crime.
