The sachet water seller who was directing traffic as traffic lights were off due to "Dumsor"
There is this big issue in Ghana today, where there will be light out. Ghanaian people refer to it as "Dumsor". So, light was out and due to this, the traffic lights were not working and there wasn't any Policeman to direct those cars to prevent accidents.
There was this girl called Comfort who ends a living by selling sachet water, who directed traffic at "Top high", in Kumasi as traffic lights were off due to lights out.
Comfort, who couldn't bear how the cars where going ups and downs without instructions or directions and any Policeman or security personnel wasn't there at that time to direct those cars to prevent road accidents. She thought to herself that, something needs to be done before anything negative happens. So, she put aside her sachet water and began to direct the traffic to avoid traffic congestions and road accidents because light was out at that point in time and there weren't any government assigned personnel to direct those cars.
This sensitive and soulful woman. Realized, that a care needs to be taken. But while she was busily directing those cars, she got spotted by a newscaster and the newscast took footage of Comfort the sachet water seller at "top high" who was busily directing cars due to "Dumsor" and the video went viral.
