Joyce Dzidzor Causes stir with her Post on Social Media, Ghanaians worried about her post

Former AIDS ambassador to Ghana, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has made a post on Facebook, which has caught the attention of many social media users and Ghanaians. Joyce who has been living in Germany for some years has disclosed how difficult it is for her to be battling the stigma, and the shame people put her through just because her HIV status is out in the public domain.

According to her, when she was diagnosed with the HIV virus, she told her mother not to worry and she was going to be fine, but according to Joyce Mensah, she sneaks and goe out to cry, Joyce Also in her post stated that, even after encouraging people with the virus to stay strong and live their lives, she sometimes find a quiet place to cry.

According to Joyce, in Germany she has been sent to the psychiatric Hospital four times, just because the stigma she is going through makes her depressed, and as a result of that her kid was taken away from her, just because of her constant depression state.

In a Facebook post sited by Dailynews360, Joyce has pleaded with Ghanaians to take care of her children, and should not also stigmatized them with her condition. According to her, she has lived with virus for some time and now and feels week.
