Recently, the rate at which road accident is happening in this country is getting out of hands, Ghana has recorded over 2000+ deaths in 2021. The roads are not safe anymore since one may not know if he/she is going to make it home or not. Most of these accidents are due to the poor loads in this country.
Micheal Akrofi reporting to UTV's "News Paper Review" on "Adekye Nsroma' Morning Show revealed that, the accident happened at Apagya Junction, and at the moment 9 people are dead including a three months child. According to Micheal Akrofi, the eyewitness at the scene revealed that, accident was caused by a sprinter van with registration number GT 7394-14 who mistakenly did an overtaking without checking if there is another car approaching crashed with a truck. Immediately 3 men and 6 women died instantly without saying a word including the driver of the sprinter van.
In my opinion, when you are in a car and the driver is over speeding or making wrongful overtaking, do well and talk to him because it's your life he is playing with. Rest in peace to all those lost their lives.
