Ghanaians have expressed their dissatisfaction in the way and manner the government is handling power crisis in the country. Most of which have addressed and described the government as being scammers. This is followed by the current disruption in the power supplied to Ghanaians.
Earlier this month, the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) have issued a press statement informing Ghanaians of a planned maintenance work which will affect power supply in the country hence will come out with a timetable to enable them distribute power to Ghanaians accordingly.
Even though the timetable have since not been made public for Ghanaians to know and schedule their time and activities, most places in Ghana have been experiencing intermittent power shortage without any prior notice to the people by the Authorities.
In a recent update from the Ghana Grid Company, which states that there will be a disruption in power supply in the country in the coming month with a timetable for that effect have sparked a lot of reactions and comments from Ghanaians as most people are worried about their businesses.
The government under the Akuffo Addo administration has promised Ghanaians that, they will deal with the power crisis and the famous "Dumsor" will be a thing of the past. They even boast of solving the previous Dumsor which was inherited from the former President John Mahama administration.
The government must come out and explain to Ghanaians why the sudden change in power supply in the country after they've dealt with the problem.
