230 prostitutes arrested at circle

The Ghana Police Service has caught 230 presumes acknowledged to be hooligans, sex workers, around Soldier Bar at the Kwame Nkrumah circle. 

The alleged liable gatherings were included 145 men and 85 women. 

The assumes included Ghanaians, nationals from Togo, Benin and Nigeria. They are attested to have busy with outfitted robbery, business sex works out, drug selling among others. 

According to the Director of National Operations, ACP Arhin Kwasi Annor, his outfit had a tip off about certain wrongdoings around there, around fourteen days earlier. 

He said that, the Police had since been noticing the activities of the assumed hoodlums during the time span before the plunge on them. 

"Fourteen days earlier, we had a report or understanding from specific quarters that a wrongdoing including arm robbery, drug sellers, prostitution are being embraced by certain hooligans in a space called Soldier Bar around Circle. However long around fourteen days, we have been checking their activities". He revealed. 

ACP Arhin said, aside the hard and fast number of caught suspects being 230, 33 motorbikes were similarly taken with some enrolled and others not. 

"The total number of suspects that were caught is 230, 33 motorbikes some are enlisted and some are unquestionably not. We acknowledge that a bit of these motorbikes are use to do bad behavior," he said during a media planning on the errands.
