It has been sad news as two people ended up with serious injuries after they were involved in serious accident at Bekwai in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The sad incident occurred on the Bekwai highway after two vehicles that were moving at very high speed unfortunately collided.
According to reports, the driver of on of the vehicle lost control of the vehicle after trying to overtake other vehicles.
The two vehicles were badly damaged after the incident and were both towed off the road to allow other vehicles to use the stretch.
The two drivers of both vehicles were badly injured and were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. They all sustained various degree of injuries.
According to some residents of the community, there have been several occurrences of accidents due to overspeeding on the stretch. Some people also attributed the incident to the careless driving skills of some drivers.
