The lead Convener of the Fix The Country Movement, Oliver Barker Vorwamor, has dropped his predictions following the violent scenes we are witnessing from the clash between the Ghana Police Service and the Arise Ghana demonstrators. His prediction must be taken with all seriousness because he is one of the few political activists, who has not had peace with the Ghana Police Service.
Oliver Barker Vorwamor gave this prediction not in a capacity of a prophet of doom but based on his experience as an organizer of a demonstration. He revealed that the Ghana Police Service has already rehearsed what they are doing now. That is, they have rehearsed the clash which has happened between the Ghana Police Service and the demonstrators.
According to him, the Police will later arrest some of the demonstrators and send them to court. He later added that the court will refuse the bail if any is applied and the demonstrators will be imprisoned.
"Scenes from our democracy.
Mark my words, the Police will arrest people.
The courts will refuse them bail.
It’s all rehearsed.
We voted away our democracy.
