Over the past decade, flooding has become a major problem confronting this country due to choked gutters that block the drainage system and a few other human factors. it mostly affects livelihoods, property and brings many people homeless.Another sad news that has reached us indicates that heavy rains began late last night on 17 May 2021 by flooding large parts of Kumasi sepaase area. It is very sad when water enters and destroyed everything in the alleged four rooms, and if it weren't for God's grace we would have heard bad news while people sleepyng in the room. Looking at the pictures in this article, you can see that the people living in the room, a woman and her two three children, climbed the stairs to sleep on the ceiling
The victims disclosed, " yesterday around 8:30 pm, we were sleeping when my younger sister who sleeps in the next room call us to come out. As soon as we came out, I saw that the flood is moving towards our room. I rush to take my children then we climb unto the ceiling to sleep. So that's where we slept till today".
