Although the nation is trying to get rid of Galamsey by introducing the "#Fix The Country " campaign, the government has also declared that excavators used in Galamsey activities should be burnt down.
This is what have called out the cry of the citizenry of the nation, all shouting out that, instead of these machines be burnt down, they can be used to fix bad roads, and can also be used as capital for the #fix the nation campaign ongoing.
This is because, as these machines are destroyed, the government would have to seek for funds to buy new ones and allocate them to various contractors which would incur additional cost to the nations expenditure, so why don't they just seize them from the Galamsey activists and use them for the better, instead of burning them. Some projects which these machines can be used for are construction of rural roads and good drainage systems which may be effective in these rainy conditions
