One of the major projects of every government is the construction of highways in the country. This will help the safe and timely arrival and departure of vehicles.

The construction of the Sofoline to Tanoso to Abuakwa to Sunyani highway is no exception. Contractors have been on the road for over a decade now. Majority of the road has been constructed but more work needs to be done. From Sofoline to Tanoso has been well constructed and road users move or use the road freely without any much traffic. However from Tanoso to Abuakwa stretch is still under construction. Most road users especially the commercial divers complain a lot about the slow work done by the contractors. Most also complain about the dusty nature of the road since it is under construction. Below are some pictures of the road.
