On Sunday 1st May, 2021 the Ghanaian social media disseminated a heartbreaking news about young girl, Daniella Nyarko, who killed her own biological father with a knife. The father who was in his 70s was an amputee and had little energy left in him to resist the daughter from murdering him.
One eye witness who volunteered to arrest the young girl and tie her down to prevent her from stabbing another person in the same house has giving vivid account about the whole scenario.
According to the eye witness ( whose name is withheld for security reasons), he heard a shouting for help in the house on that fateful day at the BBC area. He immediately gathered some boys and entered the place.
They saw that the young girl Nyarko Daniella had stabbed her old father to death on his bed and her dress was stained with much blood. She thereafter wanted to stab another man in the same house again. But they immediately rushed and grabbed her and retrieved the kitchen knife from her hands.
According to the eye witness, what seemed so strange was the energetic spirit that was possessing the hitherto seemingly calm girl at that time. He added that, they found it very difficult to tie her body before calling for the Police to handcuff her.
The volunteer believed that, a strange spirit possessed the girl and used her to do that evil act because she sees her as a very coy girl who is very reserved.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old girl is now in the hands of Tema Community two Police station who are doing all the preliminary preparation to bring her to court and examine her mental state of sanity.
