'Desist From Publishing False Informations' - Ghana Police Service

The Ghana police service advises the public to desist from publishing false informations that will disturb the peace of the country.

This is because, Kojo Owusu Koranteng and Eric Venator spread a news that is circulating on the internet and it is about Charles Nii Armah Mensah being shot by some unknown gun men at East Legon.

The Ghana police service investigated into the case and they found out it was a false information that is spreading over the country.

The police arrested Kojo Owusu Koranteng and Eric Venator.

They are in the police custody right now.

The Ghana police service went ahead to declare Charles Nii Armah Mensah as wanted.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta wale reported himself to the police and he has been arrested.

Shatta wale is assisting the Ghana police service with investigations on the false information that is circulating now.

The Ghana police service says, the false information caused fear and panic in the country so they are urging the public to desist from publishing false informations or else, that person will be arrested and prosecuted.
