The recent circulating news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms was when an innocent baby was unexpectedly abducted in a vehicle snatch by another notorious armed robbery gang at Santasi in the Ashanti region.
According to recent report by the Ashanti regional police command, the unexpected incident happened on Sunday, January 16, 2022 as the police had an information that, a red Toyota Corolla with a child onboard had been snatched from its owner at a church called Good Hope chapel at Santasi in Kumasi by some two unidentified gunmen.
The police upon receiving the information swiftly rolled out all patrol vehicles and motorbikes within the metropolis in search of the Toyota vehicle and it’s occupants but to no avail.
However, after the prime suspects sensed danger on approach of a police vehicle and a taxi cab, the prime suspects unexpectedly abandoned the stolen vehicle around Dakodwom and fled into a nearby bush.
The Toyota vehicle have been however driven to the regional police headquarters and the abducted child reunited with her mother.
In addition to this, the police patrol vehicles have taken the privilege to pursue the prime suspects as all other operational units have been activated to assist in bringing justice to the prime suspect who stole Toyota vehicle and abducted the innocent baby.
