Twene Jonas recently reacted to the Chief Imam's contribution to the construction of the National Cathedral. According to him, the Chief Imam's contribution was needless and unwise since his religious followers are suffering. Also, he explained that the New Patriotic Party members went behind to give Chief Imam the money so that he will donate it.
Today, Twene Jonas held a live video and this video was meant to address the reason why he was not recognized and nominated for some award. In the process of doing the live video, some Ghanaians interfered in the live video and attacked him for criticizing Chief Imam. According to those people, the Chief Imam is their father and as such, they debunked all rumors that the NPP gave him the money for the donation. Also, they told Twene Jonas to retract his statements. They were heard muttering in the live video and Twene Jonas tried his possible best to avoid them. Twene Jonas revealed that he does not want to show the faces of the people because in case some people hurt or abused them, he will be blamed.
