According to the woman, she gave birth on the day she was kidnapped and for that the kidnappers had taken her baby away. She was found in Axim which is some miles away from the capital city of the Western region.
However, there were medical tests on the woman which indicates that, she was neither pregnant nor lactating.
The became a massive blow on her as all results indicates that, she was not pregnant. She therefore confessed in the presence of her mother and husband that she was not pregnant. She also said the kidnapping was also fake.
The Ghana Police has therefore officially arrested her as a suspect pending further investigations. The Police are saying, they did not force her to confess. She did it willingly. There was no torture on her.
