The police service of Ghana has given a solution on the current condition confronting the mobile money operators. The arm robbers has spark their operations on mobile money agents where they will either approach you in the night or on day time with the main aim of confiscating your money and mobile phones. Just recently Kumasi Bantama and Accra Lapaz mobile money operators were made to surrender a huge sum of money to the robbers at a gun point. Not those towns alone several robbery incidents has already occurred.
However, the police service have really sympathize with those victims under such attack. The central regional deputy commissioner of police (DCOP) Habiba Akyre Twumasi Saroong speaking today urged all mobile money operators to install CCTV camera in their various vending point. 'When the CCTV camera is been initiated it will really help them(police) to trace the arm robbers'. He said. He also said the police will made available in various towns especially in night to curb the situation. When the police roams in various towns especially in the night, the thieves will desist from looting them
Habiba Twumasi( DCOP) also urge the general public and mobile money operators be vigilante and act fast in any ongoing attack as they will gradually sort things better.
