Nana Addo Asks Mahama A Controversial Question About The Komenda Sugar Factory

There has been a back and forth conversation about the Komenda Sugar factory which has allegedly "collapsed". The NDC descended on Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for telling him that the principle he used in building the Komenda Sugar factory was like building a house by starting with the roof.

Today, Kwame Sefa Kayi interviewed Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on his Kokrooko show. Kwame Sefa Kayi asked Nana Addo about his take on the abandoned project allegations from the National Democratic Congress. He further asked him why he chose to abandon the Komenda Sugar factory although there was a 25 million dollars fund from the Indian government.

In response, Nana Addo laid the facts down that the Komenda Sugar factory collapsed the same year it was commissioned. He explained that this was because of the poor planning by Mahama. He asked Mahama this simple question.

"Why did you not go for the 25 million dollars fund from the Indian government?"

According to Nana Addo, he was not willing to go for that fund.
