As according to the Constitution of our land, the Police service is being charged with the duty of protecting the rights of the citizenry, it seems now this is being flouted.
This is because as we all can testify, there are certain theft cases that go on in our localities that when the culprits are being identified and reported to the police, the case becomes a 'foolish one' in most cases leaving the robbers to go Scot free putting our lives in danger.
A lot of people experience this but it seems you waste your time if you try to drag issues on it. It is known that, the policemen get bribed and they allow the case to rest. From a video seen on social media, you would see a group of young men allegedly residents in Obuasi playing with guns.
From certain comments to the video, people stated that they know these guys and are specifically noted to be very notorious criminals in Obuasi but always able to manauver their ways through when caught by bribing the Obuasi police precisely Gausu.
If this is the issue at hand, then let's forget about our call on the police service to do something about broad daylight armed robbery. We need to be cautious in our own ways possible. This issue came up after one of these guys was seen in a picture with Shatta Bundle after his new haircut.
