The Geita Regional Police Force is holding five people on suspicion of murdering Budagala Vita, a 26 year old man, stabbing him in the neck and killing him after he found his mother sleeping with another man.
Speaking to reporters yesterday, the Regional Police Commander, Henry Mwaibambe, said the incident took place on not long ago, this year in Bokondo Village, Butundwe Division, Geita District in Kenya.
Commander Mwaibambe said, Budagala was killed by being stabbed in the neck by unknown people after he found his mother sleeping with another man, while his father was traveling in Kagera region.
He said the essence of the incident was a family dispute, after the father of the deceased, Vita Bupilipili, traveled in search of a greener pastures on June 26, this year leaving his wife and child behind.
He said Budagala found his mother sleeping with another man in their home and causing conflict within the family.
