After extending the deadline of SIM registration form March 31, 2022 to 31st of July, 2022, the Minister of Communications and Digitalization has said her ministry will no longer extend the exercise.
Few days for the SIM registration to end but some Ghanaians have not yet registered their SIM cards.
Due to some reasons, many people are calling for the extension of the exercise.
Nana Aba is seen in series of tweets calling out the minister to hear Ghanaians cry.
"Make them extend the sim registration eh. Some people have still not been able to get their Ghana cards done oo," she wrote.
"The sim registration deadline should be extended."
In another tweet she tagged the minister to extend the SIM registration exercise because many Ghanaians haven't received their Ghana cards.
"Many haven’t received their Ghana cards because of delays at the NIA.
It’s not their fault that they haven’t been able to register their SIM cards.
It’ll be sad to deny them a fair chance to register.
