The Savannah Regional Representative of this year's NTV's Queen of the North Reality show, Miss Alimatu Beyanto has shed more light on Street Hawking and it's impacts on today's children in Society in her latest project in Bole, Savannah Region.
Savannahghnews has gathered that she embarked on this campaign to educate the masses on the need to pay more attention to the Children Hawking on on the streets especially the girl child.
In an interview with Savannahghnews.com 's reporter, Abdulai F. Abudu Jnr, Miss Alimatu Beyanto outlined the ordeal these children go through whilst trying to find something to eat. As a result of this, these children go through all types of situations that are very dangerous on them and the negative impacts it has on Society.
She revealed that Most of the children get raped, do drugs and indulge in all kinds of social vices which goes a long way to undermine the efforts of Society trying to make the world a better place to be.
Miss Alimatu Beyanto says, issues such as these, Motivated her to contest for this year's Ntv's Queen of the North Beauty pargent to give her the platform to throw more light on the many challenges children go through when they are exposed to such environment.
She said if given the needed support to win this year's beauty Pageant, She will dedicate her time in fighting such social vices through her platforms and any platform she gets to make sure it becomes a thing of the past.
Miss Alimatu Beyanto is the Savannah Regional Representative at this year's NTV's Queen of the North Beauty pageant.
She also used the opportunity to thank those supporting her movement especially her management team who have been her back bone since day one.
