State Housing Boss assures Okyeame Kwame to plant More Trees around all Govt Housing Project

Renowned Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame, real name Kwame Nsiah-Apau, who has been working very hard in his new role as the Climate Change Ambassador, has once again presented the Climate Clock to the Managing Director (MD) of the State Housing Company Limited (SHC), known as Mr Kwabena Ampofo Appiah.

Okyeame Kwame together with his team met the Managing Director together with his field officers whilst working on one of their new government housing project in Accra.

During their meeting, Okyeame Kwame presented the Climate Clock to him, and also enlightened him more on the need for his outfit to ensure the polices surrounding Climate Change works perfectly, in his bid of working to provide affordable housing units to Ghanaians.

Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah who has been working hard since his appointment as the Managing Director of the State Housing Company Limited, expressed his willingness to join hands with Okyeame Kwame and all institutions involved to help keep the environment from deteriorating.

He further assured Okyeame kwame that, in all his building for the State, he will make sure it is well surrounded with trees to ensure that the environment is not polluted.

“Since the Climate Change Clock launch in New York in September 2020, Climate Clock teams have sprung up across the world from Chiapas to Kazakhstan, from Korea to Glasgow. Climate change matters in Ghana, If the world heats up by 1.5 degrees 75% of Ghana’s cocoa-growing land will no longer support the crop.".

Okyeame Kwame is working very hard to educate the public more, and also to remind us time is running out, so we can avoid the worst from happening, so there is the need to act fast.
