A 19-year-old lady identified as Prisncilla Owusu Achia met her untimely death in the hands of a careless driver on her way to buy food items.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Ayensudo near the UCC Satellite Campus of the Nduom School of Business and Technology in the Cape Coast Municipality of the Central Region around 11:30am, when the victim was in the company of her friends to by some food items from the market.
According to the Director of Public Affairs in The University Major Kofi Baah Bentum (Rtd), a Sprinter Bus with a top speed which was Involved in overtaking another vehicle incidentally runs into the innocent lady but never die at the spot. She was rushed to the hospital for doctors to have saved her life, unfortunately gave out the ghost yesterday Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
Prisncilla is a level 100 students of the University of Cape Coast reading Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management (B. Com (HRM)).
The family of the deceased have already received the shocked news, while Saltpond Police has deposited the body at the morgue pending further investigations. The University Management has extended it condolences to the bereaved family.
