Some illegal miners at Oseikrom in the New Abirem District in the Eastern Region of Ghana have been arrested

“Nobody can claim possession of this settlement. Minerals Commission has not granted any concession here,” He added.

The illegal miners are largely foreigners from Burkina Faso, Benin, and Ivory Coast. Who fluctuated the Pra river.

After seeing the minister and his team at the site, the illegal miners decided to run into the nearby buses but five (5) of them are arrested.
