Road Accident

Two dead and many injured through another fatal accident in the Central Region.

Another fatal accident that has occurred on the Abura Dunkwa to Assin - Fosu road in the Central Region has claimed two live and several people injured.

This gory accident involved a VIP bus which was trying to overtake a coaster bus on q tough speed in a very sharp curve.

According to some of the accident victims who fortunately survived, they cautioned the driver to reduce the level of speed he is driving but he would not listen.

" We warned him to stop speeding because we were scared but he fell to death ears. Now look at the predicament he has putting us in. - One of the victims said.

According to reports, the VIP driver who was driving on a very tough speed tried to overtake a Coaster bus in a sharp curve but it was not successful.

It collided head-on with a coming vehicle which was a taxi and mad the taxi Summersaulted for twice and landed in the bush.

The VIP bus in the other hand lost control and veered of its lane to hit a big tree nearby causing it to damage seriously.

The rate of road accident is always climbing its ladder very drastically which is very dangerous.

According to research, 517 persons have lost their lives through road accident in just the first two months of the year.

Drivers, passengers, and all road users are encouraged to strictly observe all safety rules regarding driving or the use of the road.

Policeman, National Road Safety Commission and all institutions responsible for vehicle and road using should be on their feet to curb down road accidents.

The two charred bodies have been to the morgue whilst the severely injured passengers are receiving treatment at the hospital.
