Around 8:00pm in the night, A group of robbers robbed Emergency health workers between Chereponi and Yendi Township. The Deputy Administration Head of Ambulance Service, Abdul A. Latif, responding to this revealed that sometimes when they are aware the situation requires security, they arrange for assistance to move ahead and save lives.
When he was questioned why this arrangement was not done for the Emergency health workers who were robbed in the night, He said they didn't know the arm robbers would come as early as 8:00 pm while its still not dark. Also, The emergency health workers were very close to Yendi where they were suppose to rest and proceed to Tamale the next day but unfortunately this incident happened.
