Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) reports that a heavy thunderstorms with a very high level of rains are anticipated in most part of the country today.
Early morning drizzling with a possibility of getting severe in the Northern part of the country this early hour.
Northern Ghana will continue to experience cases of rains as the day goes by.
This, the Agency says would gradually get tensed as the night falls.
As such, many areas around the North will see gutters being choked.
The indigenes are warned to be on the lookout as the rain continue to fall.
The immediate environs, thus, the smaller towns proximity to Nalerigu, Tamale, Bawku, Wa, Damongo, Bole, Bolgatanga, etc will all be engulfed with rain.
This will leave the average temperature up north at 23 and 31 degrees.
Transitioning to the southern part of Ghana. It is expected that the middle belts would be foggy and misty as the day unfolds.
Importantly, Sunyani, Techiman, Goaso and other towns as at the release of this weather forecast is experiencing foggy and misty all over.
Motorists are cautioned to be vigilant as the atmosphere seems invisible.
Further, these conditions would vary.
Cloudiness as well slight drizzling should be anticipated in the afternoon and the evening respectively.
Additionally, other cities like Accra, Koforidua, Kumasi, Cape Coast, Tarkwa, Axim, Akim Oda, Ho, Obuasi will all be clouded this morning.
It is likely that the afternoon through to the evening will equally experienced this condition.
Hawkers and other traders must be careful of the rain today.
Essentially, fishermen who usually go on sea are advised to halt going for today since the sea will be rough.
