On Friday, August 6th in St Louis five innocent lost their precious lives in what has been described as a heartbreaking tragedy.
The mother narrated that she left the children to run a short errand to pick up another family relative across the street from work.
She later returned to meet the apartment in flames with smokes all over, she narrated that she strived all she could, but all to no avail just to rescue her children.
It took the intervention of the East St Louis fire department to quench the fire. Unfortunately, the children died through suffocation before they succumbed to the raging fires.
Eye witness indicated that these children were heard screaming and crying for help calling for their mother, their voice died down after a while.
A burial service held on 22nd August Sunday in their respect saw the gathering of loved ones in the community and beyond dropped in to pay their respective respect to these young lives, wasted by fire.
The funeral was held in Greater St. Marks Church of God and Christ auditorium to celebrate the lives of Deontay Davis, Jr., 9, twins Heaven and Nevaeh, 8, Jabari Johnson, 4, and Loyal Dunigan, 2.
The mother of these young departed souls couldn't stand the pain and suffering of losing her children, as she wailed herself beyond restraint.
Tears were all over as these young heroes were lowered together into the ground for burial.
