3 Nigerian COVID Patients Gangs Up To Beat Popular Ghanaian Doctor To Pulp At COVID Isolation Centre

Three Nigerian COVID 19 patients at the M Plaza isolation centre have been convicted by the Accra High Court for conspiring to beat up a popular Ghanaian Doctor.

According to Joy FM correspondent Kwesi Parker Wilson with corroboration from the Police, the three are Jubreal Abinbola a 23 years old photographer, Ahmed Akinbiyi a 25 years old musician and Ramsey Omoefea 24 years old fashion designer.

The Police explained that, the convicted COVID 19 patients assaulted the medical officer without any provocation or interference.

Reading their actual offence, the three Nigerians had arrived from at the Kotoko International airports from a foreign trip. Per the corona protocols, they had to quarantine at M Plaza Hotel isolation centre.

After testing, they were all confirmed positive. Jubreal Abinbola started the whole act by insulting the doctor over his results. Ramsey Omoefa then brought the idea that they should beat him up.

Sensing that his life is in danger, the doctor took to his heels. Unfortunately Akinbiyi Ahmed captured him after attempting to stab him with a metal fork if he dare moves. The three later beat the doctor to their satisfaction.

After been helped out by other Ghanaian COVID Patients, the Doctor made a formal complaint to the Police who subsequently dressed up in protective gears and arrested the three Nigerians.

Without delay, they were processed for Court and convicted. The three were fined GH¢6000 to be paid to the courts while they compensate the Doctor with GH¢2000 each.
