Opening Bagre Dam: Another Destruction to Befall Upper West?

From researchers the dam at Burkina Faso will be opening hopefully on 30th of August, 2021. Please take care to be alert by this development as quick as possible.

We learnt that the volume of the water is as high than last year's own. Last year it was 134m by this year it is 135.9m. This shows that the volume is very high. Let's try to save a soul around and near dangerous rivers. It may not affect you but may affect an innocent. Especially to those travelling and are to cross rivers. Most rivers surrounding the Sissala area are filled to the brim , Navariwie , Wahabu, Jeffisi area etc,we should all watch out.

The rains ain't showing any sign of stopping,it rains now on daily basis but the intensity of the rain and the accompanying thunder is frightening, farmers are now worried about their maize getting soaked.

The Tumu Silbelle, Sorbelle ,Buoti Kandia through to Kusaali feeder road is so much deplorable but served as a route where people had passed through to attend the burial ceremony of the first DCE of Sissala West Mr Ishmael Maada who passed on days ago in Wa after a short illness, a family source said.

The roads looks really bad right from Tumu to Gwollu up to Hamile and beyond, lack of regular maintenance has gotten it to a state where government will need to spend more to keep the current bad road of the former President of Ghana (Dr Hilla Liman) a bit descent.

From Buoti to Kandia is been rendered impassable after a bridge collapse over 4 years today which has left turning into a dam

Paving Navrongo through Tumu to Gwollu to Hamile alone could foster business with our Northern neighbors and beyond,Get a loan too for this reddish road. The Tumu to Bolga Road is nothing to write home about.
