As reported by Angel FM presenter Appiah Kubi, a gentleman was found dead at Dansoman Junction this morning. It is believed he was a thief lunched by area boys after he attempted to steal a motorbike from the neighborhood with another accomplice. Luck eluded them as the alleged suspects were beaten to pulp and the other managed to escape.
Speaking on Angel FM on their evening news, the brother of the deceased Christian Gbeti confirmed that yes, indeed his brother has been involved in criminal activities in the past and was called around 2am on Friday morning whiles sleeping. The caller informed him about his brother been lynched and he denied it and requested they film the whole scene and send it to him.
The video was sent to him and it revealed that his brother had been beaten mercilessly by irate youth of the area for stealing. He had wanted to intervene but when he got to the scene discovered that his brother was dead already. He added that, the accomplice of his brother was also wounded and blood was oozing from his head and knees.
He however, admitted that his brother had been involved in several criminal cases but all advice given to him fell on death years as he has met his untimely death.
