Charles Nii Armah Mensah, Shatta Wale has made one of the biggest mistake in his life for faking a gun shot news yesterday. Something which started on social media took over tha nation within the shortest possible time. As at now Shatta Wale has in a post on Facebook apologize to Ghanaians and people he took their phones where the news actually came from. The Ghana Police service in a post indicated that, they have been to hospitals and the crime scene as reported by the two friends of Shatta Wale, but couldn’t see anything.
The Police proceeded to his house to check up on him but he was no where to be found, the Police then stated that, any person or persons with information of the whereabout of Shatta Wale should contact them. In the criminal code of Ghana, faking a news with intent to cause fear and panic is against the law. Especially when the person sharing the information knows well that, what he is publishing is not true.
In this case if Shatta Wale really posted those updates like he stated in his release, then it will be no surprise if the police should locate him and he being arrested. As at now his whereabout is unknown.
